What have been the highlights in your personal life since your Mount days?
Mick and I have been married for 35 years and are planning the next phase of our life together – retirement. I retired in June 2004 after 27 years of teaching high school Family and Consumer Science (clothing-textiles, housing-interior design, parenting). Mick is manager of Program Planning at the Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory and plans to retire in two years at 60. Our daughters have pursued their passions. Susan worked as an attorney in private practice for two years and as an Assistant District Attorney for 5 years. She is currently taking time to be at home with her son Jackson. She is continuing her mentoring work at Albany Law School and doing consulting. Megan is working part time as a Physician’s Assistant (PA) in a medical center ER. Her career allows her the flexibility to have more time with her two little girls and husband. We are very proud of both our daughters, our two son-in-laws, and of course, our 3 grandchildren.
What you like to do? - hobbies, sports, recreation, church, etc.
I loved being a Mom and a teacher and now really enjoy being “Nannie” to the little ones. I enjoy interior decorating, sewing, reading, and recently have been knitting baby sweaters for my grandchildren and the grandchildren of my friends. I work two days a week at a lovely local gift shop.
Who would you especially like to see at the reunion?
Pat Lynch (former Sr. Anne Francis), my classmates, especially Mary Winifred, my most loyal friend.
What is your first memory of Mount de Chantal?
