Name: Liz Didur
Spouse: Bob
Location: Michigan
Children: 3 - Rob 30, Bethany 28 and Richard 26
Grand Children: None yet- only Rob is married and only since September, 2005. Trying not to put any pressure there but I’m not getting any younger if they want me to baby sit.

Parents and siblings names and any interesting stories about them: My parents are both gone now. Brother Charles lives in San Antonio after retiring from the Air Force. Funny about his successes- he had a tough time in school but now has several degrees and is still going to school! Go figure!
Continuing Education: Schools/Degrees/Years: I’ve been teaching for almost 32 years plan to retire this June. Can’t wait!
What have been the highlights in your personal life since your Mount days? Highlights revolve around my family. They all are doing well and except for Rich live close by. He on the other hand can hardly be further away- he’s been in Hawaii since November, 2005
Places you’ve lived: Michigan
What you like to do? - Hobbies, sports, recreation, church, etc. Very boring- reading, walking for exercise and shopping, to do my part to boost the economy.
Who would you especially like to see at the reunion? Everyone. I see Susan usually once a year but couldn’t visit last summer so we have to catch up. Nancy, Paula etc.
Who’s idea was it that you attend the Mount and why? How many years did you attend? Other family members who attended and when: My parents sacrificed to send me to the Mount because they thought it would be the best educational setting for me. I stayed for 6 years because I liked everything and everyone - it was the best time in my young life!
What is your first memory of Mount de Chantal? Being in awe of the campus. Having only 7 in my class in seventh grade. It was hard to get away with anything. Oh, and candy store. My mother couldn’t figure out why I was getting so fat. It had to do with being able to charge. That can still get you in trouble!
What is your last memory of Mount de Chantal? Graduation- bitter sweet knowing there would be people that I’d lose touch with.
Most memorable event: May Party 1966
Favorite musical group while at the Mount: The Lettermen
Favorite movie: Went to a lot of movies with Frank- didn’t see much of the movies
Favorite teacher or class: Sister Mary Helen
Favorite non-classroom activities: Turkey Supper, taking walks around campus sharing secrets with
Nancy
Favorite locations on campus and off campus: The Grotto, Elby’s , Susan’s, Nancy’s
Place/space/sound that captures the Mount in memory: The playroom - a great place to curl up and be inconspicuous. It was fun to find places where we could hide- Nancy and I were pretty good at this.
Any unusual experience you would like to share or trips you have taken? Two trips to Hawaii- spent a month on Oahu and did not want to come home. Most recently a trip to Marco Island, Fla. , a great place to be in Feb. Maybe retirement will allow me to travel some and of course I hope Rich stays in Hawaii for a while
How many miles will you travel to attend this reunion? 400 mi.
